Hamedan Ali Sadr Cave
A Cave From Jurassic Period
The Ali-Sadr Cave, is the world's largest water cave which attracts thousands of visitors every year. The cave walls can extend up to 40 meters high, and it contains several large, deep lakes. The cave has a river flowing through it and most travel through the cave system is done by boat. Excavations and archeological studies of the cave have led to the discovery of ancient artworks, jugs and pitchers dating back to 12,000 years ago. Animals, hunting scenes and bows and arrows are depicted on the walls and passages of the exit section. These images suggest primitive man used the cave as their abode.

The Mausoleum of Avicenna (Ibn-e Sina) is a monumental complex in Hamadan, Iran. Dedicated to the Iranian polymath Avicenna, the complex includes a library and a small museum. Ibn-e Sina is a wise, philosopher, physician and great Iranian scientist who has given physicians in the western world. His tomb is built in Hamadan that is one of the attractions of Hamedan tourism. Hamedan Ganjnameh Inscriptions
Treasure Book
Ganjnameh (Treasure Book) is located 12 km southwest of Hamadan in western Iran. The site is home to two trilingual Achaemenid cuneiform inscriptions. The inscription on the upper left was created on the order of Achaemenid King Darius the Great and the one on the right by his son King Xerxes the Great. The two inscription panels of Ganjnameh, carved in stone in 20 lines on a granite rock above a creek, measure 2 × 3 m each. Written in Old Persian, Neo-Babylonian and Neo-Elamite, except for the different royal name, the contents of the two inscriptions are identical. The site received its name from local natives, who believed that the inscriptions contained the secret code to a hidden treasure. The waterfall, the inscriptions, the little aquarium, and the tele-cabin around here make up a really nice experience for the whole family. Ganjnameh is one of the interesting Hamedan tourist attractions that must be seen.
Hamedan Gonbad-e Alavian

Gonbad Alavian (Alavian Dome) houses the tombs of two of the members of the Alavian family, related to the Seljuk period. It is quite small but it owns artistic features which makes it attractive to some especially those interested in fine arts of stone and chalk. The architecture and the stucco is one of the fabulous examples of Islamic art in Iran. With its unique stucco reliefs and delicate brickwork, this cube-shaped structure is an outstanding example of Persian-Islamic architecture.
