Rudsar Javaherdasht Village
Jahardasht is a picturesque summer village situated in the Chaboksar district of Gilan province. This area boasts a pristine climate, bubbling springs, lush pastures, flowing rivers, dense Hyrcanian forests, and fragrant vegetation, all under a canopy of starry nights, making it one of the key tourist attractions in Gilan province.
In mid-August, local festivals and competitions such as Gileh wrestling, horse racing, and tug-of-war take place in this region. Surrounding Jahardasht are stunning areas including the protected Sarvelat region, the village of Qasemabad, and the Imamzadeh "Noghre Abbas." The area's vegetation is remarkably diverse, featuring species like boxwood, maple trees, wild persimmon, oak, beech, elm, hawthorn, wild pear, and black alder.
In the meadows and plains of the village, vibrant flowers, raspberry bushes, nettles, primroses, violets, and borage flourish. The cottages, forest houses, and sloped rural homes with gabled roofs contribute to the village's enchanting scenery. During certain times of the year, this area can be shrouded in clouds, offering a unique experience for visitors.
The presence of horses throughout the plains adds to the picturesque landscape, while traces of date palm rat holes can be found in the clay lands of the villages. The ideal time to visit Jahardasht is from mid-spring to early autumn when visitors can fully appreciate the blooming meadows, verdant pastures, and the delightful scents of aromatic plants.
